At the park!

Yesterday was another first for us! We took Avery to a park here in town because it was absolutely gorgeous outside! Granted, as Aaron would tell you, this day was probably more for he and I to remember than Avery, but still- I'd like to think that she had a good time. First, she got to swing in this monstrosity of a swing that looked more like an armchair on chains. We had never seen such a contraption but it was perfect for her with lap and shoulder straps. She did fine but I don't think it phased her much because it was really just like sitting in her highchair. Next we put her into the traditional infant/toddler swing. That she seemed to enjoy more because she got the full effect of the wind in her face and hair, dangling legs, and tilted head. We got a few smiles on that one. Finally, we each slid down the slide with her. All the fresh air and sun zapped her energy pretty quick so we headed home after our quick 25 minute stay. Though yesterday is one that Avery probably won't remember, it is one that I definitely won't forget. It was a great day.

In the last picture, Aaron really looks like Scott Rolen! It is good to see you! Thanks for updating so often so we can see how big Avery is getting, and how wonderful you all look.

She looks like she is having a great time, so does mom and dad! The last couple of pictures looks like she has had one to many slides down the slide.
Love you all!
