My little family

My friend, Sarah, took Avery's 18 month pictures and a few family shots, too. The weather was a bit chilly when the sun went behind the clouds but for the most part, Avery was a trooper. After about an hour or so, she had it and we called it a day. I LOVE these pictures and am so happy with how they turned out. It was hard to decide which ones to post on here. Enjoy!

Another princess in the castle...

On Wednesday, November 10th, 2010, at 12:43pm, Aaron and I welcomed our second child. God blessed us with another little girl, whom we named Emmersen Grace. She weighed 8lb. 2oz. and was 19 in. long. Though Avery had already walked us through the "new parent experience", Emmersen is teaching us how to manage life with 2 kids. Going from 1 to 2 is a big adjustment but we are trying our best. Avery is an amazing big sister and loves to help. We are excited to watch them grow up together and hope they maintain a closeness that only siblings can. We are grateful for Emmersen's health and the opportunity to raise her.
