Tuesday Tales

Now that Avery is almost 2, I'm starting to look for more creative, interactive, learning-type things for her to do. I came across Tuesday Tales at our public library. Unfortunately, I caught it during its last month, but Avery will still have a few more weeks to participate. Tuesday Tales is free and it's actually at night! (I get really excited when I find those time slots since I can't take her to things during the day.) Avery loved it! She had never been inside a library before so she had many new sights to take in. This little group danced to songs, listened to the story, and then had free play. You could tell she thought she was pretty cool because she was doing some big girl stuff- she kept turning around and giving me this sly smile while trying to keep up with the dance motions (which she did really well!). I can't wait to take her back and I know she's excited too. Everyday since then she's asked about the "lye-berry".
