Oh Avery girl, how can you possibly be 3 years old today?! I believe I will say that at every birthday, no matter what age that year brings. You are an incredibly sweet girl and smart beyond your years. This year you also became a big sister and you are so good at it! It amazes me to watch you with Emmersen; you are quite the little momma! Sometimes I have to remind myself of your age and treat you as such, because honestly at times, I feel as if I'm talking to an adult! We are so thankful for your health and that God has allowed us to raise you. Your daddy and I love you to pieces, love bug.**3 year check-up: 37 1/4 in. tall (55%) 30 lb. (50%) **
Today we spent the day celebrating Avery! Aaron and I took the day off to do some special things with the birthday girl. The princess requested biscuits and gravy for breakfast. She got a princess pedicure and then we headed over to the theater to see Rio. Even little birthday girls need a nap so we were sure to squeeze one of those in, too. For dinner, Poppy made his special pizzas from scratch and we followed that up with cupcakes and cake. Presents, anyone? A fun day with a sweet girl.

She looks so cute in the pictures, her pedicure is darling, I can only think of one thing that would top that!!! Yup - ear piercing. Great Aunt Becky will have to take her out and celebrate when that day comes.
