Thursday night we had our 3rd baby shower. It was hosted by Pam, Susan and Maureen and held at Pam's house who is the wife of Aaron's boss, Sheahon. The other two are also wives of men that work with Aaron. So more or less, this was an ISU shower of about 40 or so people. It was different in that it was a couple's shower. I had never been to one like that before but I must say, it was very good. Some of the men that came were alone either because they are single or because their wife was unable to attend. Quite a site to see grown men walk in the door with pink baby gift bags with tissue out the top. One of our good friends, who obviously works with Aaron, came with his gift. He's single but still managed to do a great job on his gift, getting it in a gift bag and showing up. However, he did point out to me that he did not have a card but instead had taped his business card to the inside of the bag. One of his gifts inside? A bib that has "Dude" on the front of it. It was hysterical. For dinner we had Mexican food. Make your own tacos, salsas, dips, chips, etc. For the most part, all the guys flocked to the basement and hung out unless it was time to eat. The women stayed upstairs and handled the gifts. Overall, we had a great time and were very blessed by the generosity.
