A Shared Day
This Thanksgiving, Aaron and I hosted at our house for my side of the family. It was really great to have everyone here together for Avery's first Thanksgiving. It also just happened to be the day that Avery turned 7 months old. We enjoyed good company and good food and were thankful for all that God has blessed us with this year. Especially Avery. She has changed our lives in so many ways, all for the better, well- except for the lack of sleep. As you can see in her picture, she wants to crawl so bad! She actually has started to do the army crawl and she might move forward a little while on her knees but quickly falls. She has learned how to pull up when in a sitting position so we've had to lower her crib. She eats really well but tends to take her sweet time doing so because she's so nosy! She says "da da" all the time and has started on the "b" sound a little. She loves to stand but hasn't quite figured out how to move her feet with the top half of her body. Within the last week or so, Avery has also started having a little of separation anxiety. She's great when being held, but as soon as she gets put down or one of us leaves her sight, she throws a fit. Speaking of throwing fits, she also gets very upset when something is taken away from her. I didn't think we were supposed to hit that until age 2! Overall, Avery is a great baby with a good personality. For the most part she's happy more than not. We think we'll keep her!

She is going to be up and "running" before long.
