1 year photos

Here are a few pictures from Avery's 1 year photo session. My friend Sarah took these which was great because everything was so much more relaxed and not rushed. Plus she was kind enough to let us try out so many different poses indoors and out with different outfits. Avery didn't want to give up any smiles at the beginning but fortunately we got her laughing for a few.

Another princess in the castle...

On Wednesday, November 10th, 2010, at 12:43pm, Aaron and I welcomed our second child. God blessed us with another little girl, whom we named Emmersen Grace. She weighed 8lb. 2oz. and was 19 in. long. Though Avery had already walked us through the "new parent experience", Emmersen is teaching us how to manage life with 2 kids. Going from 1 to 2 is a big adjustment but we are trying our best. Avery is an amazing big sister and loves to help. We are excited to watch them grow up together and hope they maintain a closeness that only siblings can. We are grateful for Emmersen's health and the opportunity to raise her.
