One week down

The first week of my new job went as well as could be expected. I forgot how rotten it is to be the new person who knows nothing. I did learn a ton though and tried to jump in where I could. The people that I work with are nice and have been really helpful. The commute of 2 hours a day- I'm not really a fan. It's not a bad drive. I'm just spoiled and am used to having everything within 5-10 minutes of my house. Plus when Avery cries after I drop her off at the sitter, it allows WAY too much time to think and then cry myself. Yes, there have been a few rough mornings but we have managed. Avery did fairly well at the beginning of the week but by the fourth day, she was pretty worn out. This past week has been a little strained for all three of us but I think we're on our way to establishing a new routine and everything will work out fine. Thanks to everyone for all the words of encouragement along the way. They are much appreciated!
