Our weekend of nothing

This past weekend, Aaron and I were both off (or took off) Friday and Monday. And we had no plans. It was fantastic! It did rain on the 4th but besides that, we had beautiful weather. We were able to spend some really good time with Avery without feeling rushed or needing to run errands. Really- we did nothing. We did come across a new park, or new to us, that we hadn't been to before. It's somewhat of a mini water park. There are animals that spray water out and the kids can run through. Avery LOVED it. We were pretty much the only ones there, so we didn't activate the sprinklers but just let her wander through the trickles of water. She got a little wet but quickly air dried in the heat. Attached they also had a regular playground which she enjoyed too. At the entrance to the park, Avery splashed her feet in the fountain's pool. When it was time to go, Avery cried and cried. She did not want to leave! This weekend was exactly what we all needed.
