Japanese beatles. I really despise these little suckers. Every year they come and feast on our plants and every year they're a little bit worse. If you don't catch them early, they will literally kill plants and trees before your eyes. We heard a story of a guy who went out of town for the weekend and came home to find the tree in his front yard pretty much gone from these monsters. We didn't have any a few days ago but checked again today and this is what we found on one of our trees out back. Yuck. Aaron sprayed everything and will have to continue to do so every few days probably for most of the summer. I came inside and found one in my hair and another in the crease of my shirt. If you sit inside where it's quiet, you can hear them bouncing off the side of the house. Makes me itch thinking about it.
