Painting the nursery

Aaron finished up painting the nursery today and it looks great! He did a fantastic job! Attached are the before and after pictures. This past fall, Aaron's parents came for a visit and his dad helped him to install a chair railing. At the time, we didn't know what we were having but we knew we would like a chair rail either way. After we found out that we were having a girl, we started on bedding and colors. We got a few surprised looks when we said we were using chocolate brown as a paint choice but we really like how it turned out. The pink was supposed to be more of an ice or white pink but after it dried it turned more of a cotton candy/bubble gum pink. A little darker than we had thought but nonetheless, we still like it. So now we're waiting on the furniture to arrive which should take another 7 or so weeks. To all of you who questioned whether or not I would allow the color pink in my house- here's your proof. I'm a changed woman. And kudos to Aaron for his patience with this task- painting is not one of his favorite things to do...
