As most or all of you know, we are in the middle of basketball season which keeps Aaron extremely busy. The men's team has a new head coach this year and is really leading the way to a great season (17-7, 9-4 MVC). This past Saturday evening ISU played Bradley University from Peoria, IL which is about 45 minutes west of where we live. Bradley is a HUGE rival of ISU's and every game that they compete, it proves to be worth watching. They played here at home at Redbird Arena to a sellout crowd!! That is the first time the Arena has sold out since we have lived here! It was very, very exciting to see and be a part of. The game was intense, all the way down to the last 4 seconds. With the crowd cheering, the men's team brought in another victory! ISU beat Bradley 72-68! Let's just say that makes for some very happy supporters which in turn, makes a good day for Aaron at work. Here are 2 pictures from that evening. They're not the best, but you get the idea. Our seats are in the lower bowl so I didn't get a great shot of the entire Arena or upper bowl. With a few more games left, hopefully the excitement will continue to grow for the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament in St. Louis in March. Spread the Red!
