Today is also my first day back to work from maternity leave. And let me just say that God answers prayer. Like any mom, I was dreading having to take Avery to childcare each day. I was already fortunate enough to have a job flexible enough to where I could work from home a few days a week meaning that Avery would only be in childcare for 3 days of the 5. But, I went ahead and asked about the option of working from home all 5 days and surprisingly, I was told yes! It will be difficult to get all my work done and care for Avery but it is well worth it. What a blessing!

3 months old!
Avery hit 12 weeks yesterday which is absolutely ridiculous! She's growing so much and is a very happy girl (when she gets her sleep). Avery is 11 lb even and is 24 in. Sometimes I believe that she would be walking if she could get her legs to cooperate. She's very determined and her legs are strong. She'd much rather be standing in your lap than sitting and gets frustrated when she can't get situated just right. Avery smiles all the time and coos back and forth with whoever will listen. She's starting to figure out that she has quite a bit of volume. I think she even surprises herself sometimes. Occasionally, we feed Avery with a bottle from what I've pumped so that Aaron can take part as well. This past weekend, Avery held her own bottle (see picture below). She couldn't quite get her fingers all the way around, but she had a good idea of what she was supposed to do.

She looks like a little doll!
I can't believe how big she is getting and she is sooooooo cute. She isn't going to recognize her grand great aunt. Hugs and kisses to you all. Love you all
