Avery's first birthday party was a success! Avery was pretty overwhelmed to get up from her nap and see so many faces in her house. She adjusted quickly though and took it all in stride. She enjoyed opening her presents and sitting in her polka-dot chair. She especially enjoyed listening to everyone clap when she put on her sunglasses so she clapped along! Avery wasn't so sure of her cake and tried to give away more than she ate. I think though by that time she was running out of steam. Avery had a great afternoon. Thanks to all the family who helped us with set-up, clean-up, and all the in-between!
