I did have 2 interviews today for communications/marketing positions with some reputable companies. I feel as if they went pretty well but they don't plan to fill their spots for about 3 weeks so it could be awhile before I hear anything, IF I hear anything. I am excited for the progress that has been made so far and I have to give credit to a colleague of Aaron's for forwarding on my resume to some folks in the community. She has been extremely helpful!
When not job hunting, I have spent my time working on some projects around the house and getting organized. But of course the best part of this whole deal is being able to spend so much time with AK! She is such a blessing and SO much fun! We're having a good time. She did go to the sitter's today so that I could interview and I think that was a good break for her. She loves it over there and has so much fun with the other kids. Once this rain passes through for the week, I think we'll be spending some much needed time outside at the park or going for walks. We've also been up to Aaron's work twice for lunch which has been good, too. They all get pretty excited to see her. As a matter of fact, we went up yesterday for lunch and sat in Aaron's office to eat. Within about 5 minutes, there were a total of 4 adults, not including us, standing around wanting to talk to Avery or watch her eat. So funny the power kids have over us! Maybe at least we provided a little bright spot in the day.
