We celebrated our first Easter with Avery this weekend. The weather was fantastic and church today was exceptionally good. Aaron also enjoyed a first this weekend- coloring Easter eggs! He tried to not act too excited when I pulled it all out, but towards the end, he was mixing color tablets and leaving his egg in the longest to see how dark it would get- I'm pretty sure he enjoyed it as much as Avery did. Before heading to church this morning, Avery got to check out her Easter basket. We had to get a little creative since candy wasn't really an option- so we opted for bubbles, chalk, books, colored goldfish, and a few other fun items.

So I embarrassed Aaron today by pulling our ladder out onto the front yard and setting our camera on it so that I could push the timer button on it to attempt to get a picture of all 3 of us!
It was pretty chilly this morning so Avery wasn't too happy to be left clinging to a tree while we took pictures.

She's standing all ALONE....and hating every second of it! She can stand by herself for a second or two but this was this first time that she stood alone for that long.
