Kenny

Aaron and I have gone to the Kenny Chesney concerts in STL for the last few years and were disappointed to learn that he didn't have it as a concert stop for this year. Oh well, next year, we thought. As it turns out, Kenny decided to come to us! I believe he usually only plays venues of 20k plus but for some reason Bloomington/Normal got squeezed it at the last minute, a venue of a little over 8k. Woo hoo! Aaron and I were so excited! A 10 minute drive from the house, a 2 minute walk from the parking, and there we were, just a few rows from Kenny Chesney!

This is how Kenny started his concert- sitting in a motorized chair/lift of some sort- came up from the back of audience and hopped out when it got to the front of the stage.

"Back Where I Come From"- when Kenny sings this song, he shows clips from the city he's in- this picture is of Redbird Arena for ISU- where Aaron's office is- not only did they have this one, but they probably showed 5 or 6 shots of the ISU campus. Very, very cool.
