Southern-style Christmas

We spent the actual Christmas holiday in Dallas with Aaron's family. And yes, we had snow! Had to go all the way to Texas to get it, but we did. It ended up giving just a dusting but it was still nice to see. We had a great time and Avery really enjoyed her time with her cousins.

Snow flurries!

Aaron and I helped cooked dinner on Christmas Eve. We broke out of the tradition of turkey and dressing and went with Mexican! It was so good!

Avery applying her "peesch". She came up with this name for her chapstick just one day out of the blue and has called it that ever since.

Oh my. Avery decided to put on a peep show for her cousins during the middle of the Christmas story that Grammy does with the grandkids every Christmas Eve. She had never done anything like this before but for some reason that night, she thought it was hilarious to lift her dress and flash us. I guess it didn't help that we all laughed every time she did.

Playing the piano for the first time with "aunt" Pat. She was so serious.

Avery with her Uncle Sean. She loves him so much!

Avery and her cousin Jack. He really took to her and loved to dote on her and help her with anything. If she wasn't asking for "Sawhn" then she was asking for "Jak".

The pictures are great, she looks like she had a great time! The picture of her and grammy and poppy is really good. I love the picture of her lifting her dress. I can't wait until Aaron masters the pizza, then when I come, his tacos and pizza, hmmmmmm good!! Love you all
