St. Louis City Museum
Our first stop on our Christmas break was St. Louis to see my family. We had a free day while there and decided to do something fun for Avery. I'd heard of the City Museum but wasn't sure exactly what it had. We checked it out online (www.citymuseum.org) and thought it might be a good way to spend a few hours. It's a pretty cool place that Avery will enjoy even more as she gets bigger and older but for now, there were a few things she was excited about.
The outside entrance
Right inside the front doors (to the left of the picture is a triangular slide that runs several floors of the building)

An Avery-sized slide

A massive chalkboard

Looking out the 3rd floor window- This is all attached to the building and the kids can climb through it. If you look close, there's a boy out in one of the tubes.

One of the live tanks.

The "aquarium"- While they do have actual tanks with fish, the room is designed to make you feel as if you're in the ocean. There's also tubing that runs through the ceiling of this room that the kids can climb through.
