A St. Charles Christmas

Stop #1 on our Christmas vacation tour put us in St. Charles, MO, at my dad's house. We relaxed, opened presents, shopped at the massive outlet mall, and Avery had her picture taken with Santa. She was fine until she actually got right up to him...and then she screamed. Good times!

Another princess in the castle...

On Wednesday, November 10th, 2010, at 12:43pm, Aaron and I welcomed our second child. God blessed us with another little girl, whom we named Emmersen Grace. She weighed 8lb. 2oz. and was 19 in. long. Though Avery had already walked us through the "new parent experience", Emmersen is teaching us how to manage life with 2 kids. Going from 1 to 2 is a big adjustment but we are trying our best. Avery is an amazing big sister and loves to help. We are excited to watch them grow up together and hope they maintain a closeness that only siblings can. We are grateful for Emmersen's health and the opportunity to raise her.
