You know you have your daddy wrapped around your finger when you can get him in his swim shorts on the front lawn running and jumping over a sprinkler...either that or he just needed a good excuse to be a kid. Regardless, this is how we began our day, the 4th of July.
Again, outside.
Again, with water.
Fortunately for Daddy, some friends showed up and relieved him of his duties. Avery, Audrey, Ashley, and Claire spent an hour or more running through the sprinkler, jumping in the pool, and cooling off with popsicles that Avery and I made yesterday.
Little Miss woke up from her nap just in time to join the big girls. She loved all the attention!
