Sugar Creek Arts Festival

Well the heat and humidity of this morning were nothing compared to what we experienced later today at the Sugar Creek Arts Festival in Uptown Normal.  Just about downright miserable.  We maneuvered our way through insane amounts of people and tried to peek in on some of the booths, but it was just about impossible to get too close pushing a stroller with one hand and holding onto Avery with my other.  We did have more luck at the kid-friendly booths where Avery was able to make her own stepping stone and play in the sand box.  No festival is complete without a lemonade shake-up which we happily drank in the shade of the trees listening to the band play.
