Every year, the ISU Athletics Department has a family-style Christmas party. After dinner, Santa makes an appearance and hands out stockings to all the kiddos in attendance. At last year's party, Avery was roughly 18 months old and not too keen on taking anything from Santa, much less sitting on his lap. This year she was bouncing off the walls in anticipation. When her name was called, she quickly leapt to her feet to claim her stocking. While she was up there, they called Emmersen's name too. We all headed up for a quick family photo.
