Rain to Sun

Today was one of those days when you sit back and think how awesome and powerful our God is.  It's the simple things.  The things that we are a part of everyday but are for the most part, numb to.  It's called weather.  Sure, it dictates our wardrobe and sometimes our mood, but it's one of those things that we can't really change without moving across the country or never leaving the house, so we just roll with it.  Today however, God put on a show and I was in the audience paying close attention.  He showed how quickly he can change everything, from the rain to the sun.

At 9:30 a.m. this morning, we watched from our front door as God poured buckets of water on us from heaven along with a healthy dose of wind and thunder.

Around 11 a.m. we were outside in the cool, damp air jumping in puddles and being silly.

By 7:30 p.m. we were sprawled out on the front lawn watching the people pass by, imagining animals in the puffy clouds, and watching our girls be carefree and innocent.  The rain from the morning seemed days ago.
