There are many benefits to being a stay-at-home mom. One that I am taking full advantage of is being able to make impromptu trips home. My mom just had surgery on her foot and will be slow-going for several weeks so it's much easier for us to travel than the other way around. We had no plans, no schedule. Aren't those the best trips?
