Squeezing the Last Days From Summer

It may be October, but we are savoring these final days of warmth before they are gone. The girls and I headed to the park for a picnic and playtime. It's so hard to keep the girls seated long enough to finish lunch when the swings and slides are calling their names from just a few feet away. Anderson Park will forever be known as the "blue swing park" to Avery for within it hangs this armchair-type swing. Appropriately, it is blue in color. This has been her favorite swing since before she could walk and sadly, this might be one of the last times she gets to sit in its comfort and soar through the air before we move.
