Snow White and the Bee

No, that's not the title of the new Disney movie headed to a theater near you. Making every effort to get the most out of our Snow White costume, Avery donned the blue and yellow for the third time since her birthday and Emmersen was striped in black and yellow as a bumblebee for her first Halloween. The weather was warm though slightly breezy and then quite chilly once the sun set, but as kids go, the weather was hardly going to slow these girls down. After dinner we set out to canvass the neighborhood for sweets and do some sight-seeing of all the creative costumes. Because her wings limited how she could sit in a stroller, I borrowed a wagon from a neighbor. This worked perfectly because Emme could ride most of the time and even Avery could hop in when she started to shiver. Once again, our good friends Matt and Ellyn accompanied us for the long haul and I couldn't have been more appreciative of the extra hands with Aaron gone. When the chill finally set in, we took up post at our front door so the girls could have a turn at giving instead of receiving.
