Telling Secrets

Emmersen's latest "trick", if you will, is telling secrets. I wish you could witness it for yourself because it's pretty darn cute. She will put her face within inches of your ear and make these whispering, kissy, fish-type noises. Then she'll stop and wait for your reaction and laugh! Oh, will she laugh. She's done this to Aaron and me but the best has got to be when it's done between Avery and her. Avery thinks it's hysterical and will roll with fits of giggles which then sets off Emmersen's own laughter. Avery will whisper back and then they go all over again. 

Today the girls and I had lunch on the front porch just because. The weather was amazing and I couldn't find a reason why we shouldn't. It was a shock that we actually made it through lunch with all the laughing that took place. I loved every second. I tried to capture some of it with my camera and I just adore those faces of pure joy. At one point, I almost felt as if I were intruding on this special language that was taking place between them. It was amazing and contagious. Pretty soon, they had me rolling as well.
