36 weeks

I am now to the point of having doctor appointments once a week. At this particular appointment, the doctor wanted to determine if the baby was still breech. Her best guess was that the baby had flipped but I begged for an ultrasound nonetheless. Not so much to see the baby's position, but more so to hear one more time that we really were having a girl. I can't even count the number of times over the past month or so that people have commented that I looked as if I was carrying a boy. Not that we'd mind a boy, but that would mean a lot of scrambling on our part to change the nursery and buy boy clothes.

The ultrasound showed that we are indeed still having a girl and.....Yes! She had flipped! She is no longer breech which eliminates the need for a c-section! We were absolutely ecstatic! Based on the ultrasound, the baby looks good and healthy. She currently weighs roughly 5lb. 12oz. My due date is November 12th and the doctor said she would not let me go past that date. So now we wait.
