I have this list that I created of things to complete before baby #2 arrives. One of these items is to find something different and fun to do with Avery so as to create a special memory and day for her. I heard from several people about the Disney Princess Classics on Ice. They were showing in Peoria which is about 45 minutes away and I thought it might be fun for Avery. So we went. (even Aaron- what a great dad!) And it turned into a pretty long day that exhausted all of us. It was more fun for us to watch Avery's excitement than anything else. I was told prior to going that my daughter would be an absolute outcast if she weren't dressed in princess gear so we packed the Snow White costume just in case. Sure enough, it was needed. I've never been a big Disney/princess/fairy tale type girl but I try not to let that influence her fun. Who knows? Maybe she could teach me a thing or two.
Well, Avery had fun watching all of the princesses but we should have left at the intermission. She made it about 10 minutes past that before she was asking to leave. So we crawled our way over people and made our way home.
Memory made.
