It is officially fall when we make our first trip to Rader's Pumpkin Farm. Fall arrived today. Normally, I wouldn't pick the opening day to make our voyage there amongst the rest of the town with their wild children and pushy strollers, but it was beautiful outside and I couldn't resist. I love this place that we discovered just 3 years ago. In the middle of cornfields and the vast expanse of land, one will find Rader's. Each year it holds something different for the kids to enjoy, always proving to entertain and enjoy. This year was particularly special because I was able to see it all over again through Emmersen's eyes.
Fresh air. Fields dotted with orange pumpkins. Kids laughing. Apple cider. Farm animals. Yes, I find this place to be a small piece of heaven.
