The girls awoke on Christmas morning and discovered that Santa was able to keep track of their big move (a big question from Avery) and yes, he was able to finish off those cookies that they left for him. Whew! Big sigh of relief!
Our day was fairly low-key. We opened presents and relaxed for the better part of the day. After dinner we sang Happy Birthday to Jesus and celebrated his birthday with candles and cake. Before bed, Aaron read the girls the Christmas story from the Bible.
