Shaving Cream Art

Q: What do you get when you mix shaving cream and food coloring with the curious fingers of children?
A: Another fabulous Pinterest art project for kids!

Fortunately, I have a friend who shares my obsession passion for Pinterest and she allowed us to make a mess in her kitchen the other day along with some other friends.  Oh my, did they love this! We squirted shaving cream on their papers, added drops of food coloring in different spots and then let them smear it all around. When they were done, we wiped all of the excess off and then let them dry. We brought our artwork home and then took them a step further. I traced an egg shape on each and let Avery cut them out. We strung some ribbon on our multi-colored eggs and made ourselves a very unique Easter garland.
