Mommy and Avery's special day

Avery and I had a special day today.  One of my goals was to get in at least 1 or 2 days with her before her baby sister arrives.  Nothing crazy, just some one-on-one attention doing something that Avery would enjoy.  We headed to breakfast at Wild Berries where I indulged in pumpkin pancakes and Avery had the Mickey Mouse pancake.  After that we made our way to the Children's Discovery Museum.  We've been several times before but she never tires of it.  She had so much fun running from exhibit to exhibit (Though I have to mention that this absolutely wore me out!  I was exhausted when we left there!)  We left there in enough time to pick up Aaron and head to my doctor's appointment.  She was able to watch the doctor measure my belly and then listen to her baby sister's heartbeat.  I don't think she knew what to make of all that.  Lastly, we headed to lunch at Noodles then home for a nap (for both of us).  We had so much fun together.  I think we'll try to squeeze in one more day before the big event.

Tending to one of the babies in the nursery
Running the register in the pizza shop
She loves the water table!
So serious as she paints on the wall
