Our families decided to space out their visits when Emmersen was born so that we could benefit from extra hands for a longer amount of time. My family came first and then Aaron's parents came the day after they left. This was especially beneficial for Avery so that she received some one-on-one attention given that all Aaron and I wanted to do was sleep! Emmersen wedged a little soft spot out of Poppy's chest and pretty much remained there the entire time they were here. We started giving him grief about how much he would let her sleep. Honestly, that girl would be wide awake, but if Poppy got a hold of her, she would snuggle on down and be out.
