We are especially thankful this year for our second child, Emmersen Grace. She was born just 15 days ago and is healthy. Thank you, God.

| Now that Avery is old enough to understand broad concepts, we took this Thanksgiving as an opportunity to teach her about being thankful and what it means. Here, she created a "Thanksgiving tree" with her hand cut outs as leaves. Each leaf has something on it that she's thankful for. Thanks to my friend, Sarah, for this idea. |
